Sedona and Me

Welcome to Runway 33. My name is Darryl Short and I live in the south Warwickshire village of Fenny Compton. I have spent most of my working life in the airline industry and currently work for British Airways IT department close to London’s Heathrow Airport. This allows me a great deal of time to reflect as I join all the other happy smiley commuters on the daily drive up and down the M40.

Divorced, I have a wonderful young daughter Sedona.

So what’s it all about. Well the aim of my site is to bring you a hopefully sometimes-amusing look at the world of aviation from a personal perspective. As a result it deals primarily with my two great interests in aviation namely spotting and flying.
