NBAA Trip - Marana
While in the US managed to grab the opportunity to do some much needed flying. Having managed a check ride on the Cessna 172SP with Sawyer Aviation at Scottsdale before leaving for Las Vegas. The plan was a return to Phoenix after the NBAA for a few days before returning the UK. Cessna 172R N782WW therefore provided the mount for my trip down from Scottsdale to Ryan, complete with an all important landing at Marana. Having a friend who is an instructor helps immensely as I passed control to Helen for the taxi back down the main apron, while I reverted to spotter mode.
Returning from Ryan to Scottsdale later that day, provided the opportunity to position N782WW for a few aerial shots as we passed Marana.
As a few of my friend had done Marana overflights whilst in Tuscon a few days earlier, I thought it might help to tie our logs up if I posted some of my pictures here. However in my enthuiasm I have gone on to produce a few diagrams of the aircraft noted, together with an accompanying list. Hopefully with so many people visiting the area we may be able to tie some more of these aircraft up.
